Mariposa Agave Nectar Liqueur Cocktails

A natural sweetener similar to honey, agave nectar continually grows in popularity as an ingredient that has become a favorite among top mixologists. With the creation of Mariposa Agave Nectar Liqueur, agave nectar is transformed into an elegant spirit product. This artisanal liqueur is a highly mixable, easy-to-use sweetening agent created from the finest agave nectar, combined with 100-percent agave tequila and premium vodka. Here are a couple of our favorite cocktails to make with it.

Mariposa Mojito

Ingredients:
1 oz. Mariposa Agave Nectar Liqueur
1 oz. Silver Rum
0.5 oz. Lemon Juice
0.5 oz. Lime Juice
2 sprigs of Mint
4 oz. Soda Water

Procedure:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Pour into Collins glass over fresh ice and top with soda water.

Viceroy Daiquiri

Ingredients:
0.75 oz. Mariposa Agave Nectar Liqueur
1.5 oz. Silver Rum
0.5 oz. Lime Juice
0.5 oz. Grapefruit Juice
0.75 oz. Simple Syrup

Procedure:
Combine all ingredients intop blender with one cup of ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into hurricane glass and garnish with lime wheel and cherry on top.
