WEST SIDE GRAND CREW JOINS
THE SAN DIEGO BAY WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL
Over 150 Wineries Featured At Annual Festival

San Diego, CA - Oct 01, 2005 San Diego wine enthusiasts will have their chance to swish, swirl, sniff and taste over 150 award winning wines at the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival set to take place this November 10-12. Joining the festival this year is the West Side Grand Crew, a family of eight winemakers largely celebrated for their novel wines created in California’s Central Coast Valley, said Ken Loyst, president of World of Wine Events and the event organizer.

“This event is truly unique for San Diego wine lovers and gives collectors and novices alike a great opportunity to taste first-hand some of the best wines available on the market today,” said Loyst. “We are thrilled to have the winemakers from the West Side Grand Crew joining us this year for their panel discussion and assure anyone intrigued about the uniqueness of this region will enjoy their session.”

The Paso Robles Westside Grand Crew will feature wineries including Justin Winery, L'Aventure, Peachy Canyon Winery, Adelaida Cellars, Dunning Vineyards, Opolo Vineyards, Windward Vineyard and Denner Vineyards. Each winemaker will sit on the panel in a spirited discussion on the character-filled wines that stem from the extreme hillside vineyards and diversity of microclimates from the region.

The winemaker panel will also explain the relationship between wine quality and unique terroir in a seminar and tasting of each wineries flagship wine. Space is limited to the first 50 who register. Tickets are available for $45 per person. No one under 21 allowed. The session will take place from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, November 11 at The Westgate Hotel.
