Pork Roast
Edna Lewis

Edna Lewis was the Grand Dame of Southern Cooking. Born of freed slaves in Virginia, she brought culture and custom to her cooking.

Tennessee Williams, Truman Capote, and Gloria Vanderbuilt were but a few to dine in her restaurant that she opened with a partner in 1948. She did all the cooking.
She passed away at the age of 89 in February, 2006.

Enjoy this recipe from a legendary woman!
