Hot Whiskey Cocktails to Warm Up the Winter Season

As temperatures continue to drop nationwide, now is the ideal time to bundle up in front of the fireplace or camp out at a local bar and sip on warming, whiskey cocktails. This season, Alibi American Whiskey is offering a couple cold-weather classics to take the edge off the unforgiving chill.

Maple Toddy

Ingredients:
2 oz. of Alibi American Whiskey
1/2 oz. of Grade B maple Syrup
Lemon Wheel, (studded with cloves)
Cinnamon Stick
3 oz. of Hot Water

Procedures:
Combine Alibi American Whiskey, hot water and maple syrup in a mason jar. Add hot water. Garnish with lemon wheel and cinnamon stick.

Hot Buttered Whiskey

Ingredients:
1 stick of Butter
5 oz. of Brown Sugar
1 tspn. Ground Cinnamon
1/4 tspn. Ground Cloves
1/4 tspn. Ground Nutmeg
2 oz. Alibi American Whiskey
Boiling Water
1 Cinnamon Stick
Star Anise

Procedures:
1. Mix butter, brown sugar, spices in a bowl. Transfer batter into an air-tight container and refrigerate for at least an hour.

2. Combine whiskey, 2 tablespoons of the batter, hot water and whiskey into mason jar. Stir.
