New Belgium's Wintertime Favorites

It's starting to feel more and more like winter, which means the return of beloved cold-weather favorites from New Belgium Brewing. Their Accumulation White IPA and 2° Below Winter Ale can be found on shelves now, with Frambozen Raspberry Brown Ale. Here's what our beer guy had to say about them:

Accumulation
White IPA - Seasonal Release

Visual: A Light in color and body a real surprise if you are used to Traditional IPA's

Nose: A bright citrus hop nose as you would expect with a dry hopped IPA.

Taste:A bigger bitter bite upfront but mellows as it lingers on the palate.

Finish: Crisp clean finish that makes this beer easy to enjoy.

Recommendation: Grab a pint if you can find it. But definitely worth a try for those looking to expand into different types of IPA's

2° Below
Winter Ale - Seasonal Release

Visual: Nice crisp golden brown in color

Nose: Hoppy green nose with Light citrus notes and a bit of spice at the end.

Taste: Sweeter malt overtones with toffee flavors that give way to some hoppy bitterness and floral tones

Finish: Long lingering smooth aftertaste of malt transitioning to hops.

Recommendation: Grab a pitcher. This is a great consistent Winter beer to enjoy with friends and family.

Frambozen
Raspberry Brown Ale - Seasonal Release

Visual: Ruby red with light brown tones.

Nose: Fruity sweetness with notes of caramel and cereal malts.

Taste: Tart rasberries dominate the initial taste but some of the caramel taste comes through.

Finish: Dry crisp finish

Recommendation: While this beer may not be for everyone (it's almost a dessert beer), it's definitely worth a try.
