"Five Star Night" Meals On Wheels

Five Star Night, the 26th annual fundraiser for Alameda County Meals on Wheels, will take place on Friday, April 26, 2013 beginning at 6:00 PM at the Scottish Rite Center (1547 Lakeside Drive) in Oakland, California.

A lavish four-course dinner, under the guidance of Narsai David, will be created by 14 of the Bay Area's finest chefs, plus there will be a champagne and fine wine reception, silent and live auctions, DJ entertainment and dancing.

Funds raised at Five Star Night are immediately distributed to Meals on Wheels programs throughout Alameda County which provides warm meals and friendly visits to 2,100 homebound seniors each delivery day; nearly 600,000 meals per year.
