Kansas City BBQ Ribs

When it comes to the different barbeque meat varieties, 34% of participants in a recent Zagat BBQ Survey said ribs are their favored type. So here's a recipe from the folks at Kraft for some Kansas City BBQ Ribs that will please the whole family.

Kansas City BBQ Ribs

1/4 cup packed Brown sugar
1 tbls. Paprika
1-1/2 tspn. each Garlic Powder and Onion Powder
1 tspn. black pepper
1/4 tspn. ground Red Pepper (cayenne)
4 lb. Pork Spareribs, (trimmed)
1 cup HEINZ BBQ Sauce Kansas City Sweet & Smoky

1. Heat oven to 350F.

2. Combine sugar and seasonings; rub over ribs. Place on foil-covered rimmed baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 1 hour.

3. Heat grill to medium-high heat. Transfer ribs to grill.

4. Grill 8 to 10 min. or until heated through, turning and brushing frequently with barbecue sauce.
