Say 'Yes, Way!' On National Rosé Day With these Cocktails

National Rosé Day is on June 10th, so why not celebrate with these two cocktails for summer sipping made with Snowbirds Rosé, a refreshingly bright, fruit forward blend produced from three Rhône grapes - Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache.

Snowbirds Seaside Granita

Serves: 5

This twist on an adult granita will cool you off and chill you out, no swimming pool required.

Ingredients:
8 oz. Simple Syrup (2 parts water, 1 part sugar)
.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz. Fresh Orange Juice
.5 oz. Strawberry Liqueur
1 bottle Snowbirds Vintners 2016 Rosé
Orange or Strawberry Slices for garnish

Procedures:
1. Add the cooled simple syrup, citrus juices, and liqueur to a bowl. Stir in Snowbirds Rosé, then pour into a freezer-safe, non-metallic tray. Freeze until a thick layer of crystals have formed (2 hrs), and scrape the bottom and sides of the pan with a fork to break up the ice crystals. Continue to freeze for 8 to 10 hours, until the consistency is firm.

2. Scrape again, and scoop into small glasses. Garnish and serve immediately.

Flight To Cuba

A riff on the traditional Hemingway-style daiquiri, this classic cocktail gets a modern take with the addition of bright, cheery rosé.

Ingredients:
1 oz. White Rum
.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz. Simple Syrup
2 oz. Snowbirds Vintners 2016 Rosé, (chilled)

Procedures:
1. Shake the rum, lime juice, and simple with ice, strain into chilled coupe glass.

2. Top with Snowbirds Rosé, stir once. Garnish and serve.
